1. What does a plated dinner mean?

The term “plated dinner” refers to a sit-down meal that is typically more elegant, classy and personable. The guests don’t have to leave their table then stand in a buffet line to get their food. Their dinner is delivered to the table by our friendly staff.  No worries about something running out or risking a guest spilling food onto another guest while working through the buffet line.  Plated dinners can accommodate special requests for food allergies and intolerance and also have less wasted food.

2. What does buffet mean?

Buffet style means that the food selections are presented on a serving table and the guest must serve themselves. Depending on the number of people attending the event, the line may be long or the tables may need to be released one at a time.  Guests will also drop food around the serving dishes and will bump into others with their food. A buffet typically offers several selections, which may be too many options for some. Also, some guests will return for seconds, thirds, fourths?

3. Can you recommend any venues nearby?

We have worked at nearly every location in this area. Please check our locations above.

4. Do you offer alcohol or a bartender?

This is typically arranged through the venue as some do require additional security.

5. What if I want something other than what’s on your menu?

Just give us a call, and we can discuss it.

6. What type of linens, glassware, plates and flatware do you provide?

This too is typically provided through the venue. If it is not, we can discuss.

7. What is your policy on cleanup?

Our staff will clear the tables after the meal and return all dishes, flatware and glassware to the kitchen for cleaning. All trash will be bagged for the venue staff to remove.

8. How will the servers be dressed?

Our staff is required to wear a white shirt (formal) or a T-shirt with our logo, black slacks and shoes.

9. How is my total price calculated?

Each meal price is based per person. For example, 100 people at $10 each would be $1,000. The required Indiana state sales tax of 7% ($70) is applied. Then a 20% ($200) service charge is applied to the pre-taxed total. Making the final bill $1,270. A 25% down payment is required at the time of booking the date. The remainder is due upon completion of the event.
